Cheeky Belgian “Chocolat” Saves Troops

“Chocolat” the “Belgian” Shepherd (described as “Cheeky” by his Handler) found home-made explosives, old claymore mines and enough equipment to make over 10 roadside bombs, known as Improvised Explosive devices.

“He is really helping to save the lives of some key players in the dangerous world of Counter IED.”

Av-it… Taliban Get Their Grenade Back…!!

A British Soldier shows his honesty by Giving the Taliban their GRENADE back..!!
In a moment of sheer madness (otherwise known as comradeship) he picked-up the grenade and lobbed it right back to where it came from..!!
This act, without a doubt – saved the Rifleman and his mates from what could have been another devastating blow to their Regiment – after losing Corporal Green only the previous day.

British Soldier Killed At Afghanistan Checkpoint

It is with deepest regret that we announce the death of yet another HM Forces member.
The 23 year old was a member of the 3 Rifles Battle Group – working alongside the Afghan National Army at the time of his death. A Gunman who was lurking in the shadows opened-fire at the checkpoint near Sangin in Helmand Province.

British Airman Killed in Kandahar Afghanistan

On Wednesday evening (25th February 2010) a member of the Royal Air Force was killed by an explosion whilst on vehicle patrol in Kandahar Afghanistan. The Airman was assigned to the RAF Regiment 2 Squadron who carried out duties as part of the Kandahar Airfield Defence Force.

Wootton Bassett Islam4UK March Scrapped

A radical Islamist group that planned a march through Wootton Bassett will be banned under counter-terrorism laws. Islam4UK had planned the protest at the Wiltshire town to honour Muslims killed in the Afghanistan conflict, but had since cancelled the proposed march.
